Speaker Bio
Andrew Peterson is a program analyst in the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) ENERGY STAR program office. He started at EPA in July of 2023 with the goal of improving the energy efficiency of the manufacturing and industrial sectors . Prior to joining EPA, Andrew worked in the National Institute of Standards and Technology's Manufacturing Extension partnership as a general engineer working to increase the competitiveness of small and medium sized manufacturers. Additionally, Andrew worked as a compliance engineer in for a medium sized manufacturer in the bottled water industry. Andrew holds a Master of Engineering degree in mechanical engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Marquette University.
