Zoisa is CEO of Octopus Energy Generation, Octopus Energy for Business and Octopus Electroverse.
Octopus Energy Generation is on a mission to create an abundance of cheap, green energy for people around the world, and already manages renewable energy projects across 19 countries worth £7bn. Zoisa’s team also drives positive change in the Net Zero economy through tech-enabled products, including the Fan Club and Winder (Tinder for Wind).
Hall of Fame Induction
The Energy Managers Hall of Fame is the highest honor bestowed by AEE, recognizing individuals for their lifetime dedication in promoting the practices and principles of energy management.
DR. FOTOUH AL-RAGOM, C.E.M., C.E.A, C.S.D.P., is Energy Efficiency Technologies Program Manager at the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR). Fotouh holds a PhD degree in Mechanical engineering from University of Florida, Gainesville.
She is a research scientist with over 20 years’ experience in the field of energy conservation, energy efficiency, energy auditing, energy code, air conditioning and renewable hydrogen production. She has led several projects in her field of expertise and earned international recognition.
She participates in professional training nationally and regionally in energy efficiency and energy auditing and is currently is an authorized CEA and REP trainer for Kuwait. She authored several articles in peer-reviewed journals, book chapters and holds several shared patents. She is currently a member of the national energy efficiency, policy and planning and renewable energy committees of the Supreme Energy Committee for the State of Kuwait. She founded the AEE Kuwait Chapter and currently serves as its president. She is the AEE Assistant Director of International Development for the Middle East Region.
Fotouh has received several recognition awards including the Emirates Energy Award, the Federation of Arab Engineers Distinguished Female Engineer for the State of Kuwait and International Professional Development Award from AEE. She is a fellow member of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE).
