Speaker Bio
John Avina, P.E., CEM, CEA, CxA has been involved in the energy efficiency field since 1995. He previously worked for Johnson Controls as an M&V practitioner. He worked at SRC Systems, the developer of Metrix and MarketManager software as tech support and trainer. Metrix was the state of the art weather normalization software used by ESCOs. He worked at Silicon Energy as a project manager. Then in 2001, he started Abraxas Energy Consulting, which he managed until selling it in 2023. He has taught energy professionals weather normalization in over 200 two day in person classes. He just published a book that is not energy related.
