Building Automation Systems Installations - A Practical Management Guide
Building Automation Systems have increased in complexity over the past several years, often at a rate faster than the equipment they are controlling. The control processes have the ability to be more complex and provide better functionality. This presentation is designed to provide a pathway to get the most out of the installation and the services provided, regardless of the system type being installed. It starts with some basic deliverables and moves into higher level data management. Real world examples of the forms and procedures used during engineering, installation, and commissioning are discussed.
Speaker Bio
Duane Warren is the Engineering Director for the Energy and Sustainability Group at Jones Lang LaSalle. He is the AEE 2024 International Energy Innovator of the Year and a Fellow within AEE. He has worked in the industry for over 40 years. He has specific and deep experience in Building Automation Systems installation and commissioning and has implemented these processes across North America in various industries. He has trained several dozen people in the use and implementation of this process.
