From High-Rise to Historic: Long Term Energy Efficiency in Federal Buildings
Southern Company Federal Services, in collaboration with the General Services Administration, developed and implemented energy upgrades in twelve federal facilities totaling over 5 million square feet across Georgia. The buildings ranged from office high- rises in downtown Atlanta to historic, rural courthouses, and required significant investments to improve energy resiliency and provide for continued long-term use. Attendees will gain insights into the intricacies and strategic planning involved in seamlessly integrating these diverse needs into a cohesive Utility Energy Services Contract (UESC).
