Constellium’s Energy Best Practice Management and Replication System
Collecting and replicating energy best practices is a challenging task due to the time required for proper vetting and implementation. Many organizations have attempted to manage ideas using a variety of online systems, only to abandon the effort due to managerial overload.
In this presentation, Constellium will showcase the effective process it developed to collect, review, warehouse, and promote energy best practice ideas. Including a Visual Management process used to focus replication efforts. The tool incorporates Lean Principles to minimize administrative tasks required and corporate governance.
In addition, Constellium with share its process for collecting new best practices from global sources, it’s internal Energy Network, and more. Applicable to all sectors of energy use, attendees will be able to use Constellium’s simplified process as a foundation to build their own, adapted to the specific needs of their organization.
Speaker Bio
Mr. Allemon has more than 37 years of global experience in the energy management field across multiple manufacturing and commercial sectors. Bill is the Global Energy Manager at Constellium Aluminum, championing efficiency improvements in support of 2030 CO2 reduction goals. With 25 global manufacturing operations, Constellium is a key producer of rolled, extruded, and structural aluminum products based on advanced alloys.
Prior to Constellium, Bill was Vice President of Energy Management at AngloGold Ashanti, providing strategic and technical leadership for 17 global mining sites. Bill’s career also includes 21 years at Ford Motor Company, achieving the position of Corporate Energy Efficiency Manager. As well as executive positions in the consulting field.
Bill is a Certified Energy Manager, Certified Energy Auditor, LEED Accredited Professional, and was recognized by the ACEEE in 2023 with a Lifetime Achievement Award for contributions to Industrial Energy Efficiency.
