The Building Envelope as a System: Why Airtightness Matters
The building envelope is not just walls and roofs. It is a system that manages heat, air, and moisture flows, shaping energy use, durability, and occupant health. In commercial buildings, insulation, HVAC, and moisture protection all depend on one critical factor: airtightness.
