So What Are The Differences Between the CEM®, CIEP™, and CEA™ Training Courses?
| From the many international energy engineering certification courses that the AEE® offer, I often get asked what is the differentiating features of the CEM® (Certified Energy Manager), the CIEP™ (Certified Industrial Energy Professional), and the CEA™ (Certified Energy Auditor) training courses. Since I am in a relatively unique position as a contributing training material developer of all three certification courses, as well as having individually instructed these three courses over 80 times since 2013, I have set out to visually map out the answer to this complex question. In this session, each of the three courses’ unique main topics and sub-topics are shown, as well as each’s exclusive material content e.g., appendix of worked out “sample-exam questions”, “cheat-sheets” of practical energy management opportunities as well as “rules-of-thumb” to use during audits, and easy to use formula sheets to use during an exam. Session attendees will be able to appreciate all three courses’ 23 main topics and their 160 sub-topics in order to compare the level of detail discussed in each, and they will be left with an unquenchable excitement, renewed motivation, and a clear road map to decide which AEE certification course to register for next. |
