Behind-the-Meter Wind Power Re-imagined

Imagine the opportunity to install a wind turbine on your own property that was small in height, made virtually no noise, killed no birds, and simply created on-site renewable energy whenever the wind was blowing, at a price lower than the best you could receive from you power company and/or power marketer. That possibility exists today with vertical axis wind turbines. This presentation will focus on the engineering marvels of these types of wind turbines and point out the game changing maintenance features that improve the economics of such installations. Beautiful design and movement are key design features for acceptance. Superior safety design is a gamechanger when identifying locations to site these types of vertical axis wind turbines.
