Starting and Growing an Energy Consulting Business
There is going to be a great need going forward for practitioners in energy efficiency and conservation. If you are passionate about saving energy, you can build a career out of providing energy efficiency services. By starting and growing an energy business, you can have a much larger impact on industry and the environment, than you can have on your own. I will share my experience starting and growing a business into a Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Company, including what succeeded and what failed.

A passionate energy conservationist, Eric has over 32 years of energy and sustainability management, specializing in energy efficiency, renewable energy, sustainable design, retro-commissioning, and facility assessments, for buildings in the commercial, educational, and government sectors. He has managed hundreds of domestic and international projects, conducted training seminars, developed comprehensive energy awareness and education campaigns and has performed over 500 energy audits covering over 120 million ft2. Has published articles in multiple journals and magazines and has been a presenter and moderator at dozens of energy conferences. He is currently the President-Elect of the Association of Energy Engineers and in 2019 was inducted into the AEE National Energy Managers Hall of Fame.
