Heat Pump Water Heater Basics 101
Hybrid water heaters, also called heat pump water heaters, use advanced heating technology to absorb heat in the surrounding air and transfer it into the water. Less energy is used to absorb heat compared to standard water heaters that generate heat and can cut your hot water costs in half. Heat pump water heaters are high performing & efficient, not high maintenance. We will cover the basic operation and application of the energy efficient hybrid/heat pump tank type water heater.
