Carb Unloading: Hexion’s Decarbonization Journey and Pathway

Setting a long-range goal for improvements in energy consumption, efficiency, and/or greenhouse gas emissions is a critical step in the process to achieving efficiency and sustainability targets. When these goals become communicated publicly there is an even greater emphasis on having a pathway and line of site to achieving the goals. In this presentation I will share Hexion's strategy and process towards setting and achieving our climate change-related sustainability goals along with discussing the process to develop the roadmap to achieve the goals. Key topics covered will include how we got started, corporate support and alignment, developing the roadmap, and how we factored in potential business changes.
