Davetta Thacher is a Senior Project Manager with NYSERDA’s Clean Energy Workforce Development and Training Team, where her focus is on building operation and maintenance training and the electrification of heating. Prior to this position, she was part of NYSERDA’s On-site Power Team, where she helped develop, design, and manage a wide variety of energy-related initiatives, including the NY-Sun Competitive PV Program and the Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Program, which provided technical and financial support for the installation of CHP systems, primarily in Con Edison territory.
Currently President, Davetta has served as a Board Member of the New York AEE Chapter since the Fall of 2015 and as an officer since January 2018.
