Solar Generation and Utility Rate Optimization
The purpose of this presentation is to provide insight and guidance on how on-site solar generation can be best optimized for the operations of any facility. In order to maximize the benefits of the solar generating asset for any facility, the correct rate schedule and appropriate interconnection agreement can make or break a deal. With the passing of the Inflation Reduction Act, integrating on-site solar generation and allocating resources as efficiently as possible is more relevant than ever.

As Cherry Street Energy (CSE) Rate Manager, I developed and have implemented our Energy Insight Algorithm (EIA). The EIA has helped our customers save between 5-15% on their energy bills annually on improved utility rate schedules that are customized to their facilities load profiles. Our customers include Emory University, the City of Atlanta, Porsche Cars North America, Fulton County, Macon-Bibb County, etc.
