Chris Nelson has over 35 years of professional leadership experience. As the CEO of Helios Energy, Mr. Nelson is responsible for the overall management of the company. Chris leads the development of all projects including the company’s current commercial to utility scale solar investments in the South Pacific, Caribbean, and US. He is a retired United States Marine having served for over 21 years in various intelligence and signal intelligence assignments across the globe. Following his military career, he spent 12 years in senior sales leadership, training leadership and coaching roles with three different global Fortune 500 companies in the pharmaceutical, medical device and financial services industries. Chris received a B.S. degree in Business Administration from The Citadel and a master’s degree from Montana State University. He holds the Certified Performance Technologist (CPT) and Certified Technical Trainer (CTT) designations and is widely recognized as an authority in human performance improvement, sales training and sales coaching.
