Speaker Bio
Andrew supports the Better Plants program at the Department of Energy (DOE) Industrial Efficiency and Decarbonization Office helping U.S. manufacturers save energy, reduce emissions, and improve sustainability. Andrew has over 7 years of experience working on government and non-profit energy programs. Prior to joining the Better Plants program, Andrew was a project manager for DOE's Advanced Research Projects Agency - Energy (ARPA-E) program.
Andrew also conducted research on industrial decarbonization at the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) and supported the Energy Information Administration's electricity survey operations. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Science and Technology from James Madison University, where he minored in Science, Technology, and Society.
