Project financing using operational savings vs. capital budget
After the presentation participants will understand a new way to implement comprehensive, multi-measure energy and water efficiency upgrades at their facilities. Specifically, participants will:
• Understand the financial, technical, operational and sustainability benefits associated with the implementation of comprehensive energy and water efficiency upgrades under a Sustainable Energy Services Agreement (SESA) versus traditional capital budgeting.
• Review the legal and financial nuts and bolts that underpin SESA projects and describe how they enable off-balance sheet accounting treatment, de-risk projects and generate positive cash flow.
