Tobias Vernersson

Tobias currently serves as a Business Development Manager in Alfa Laval’s Energy Division, where he plays a key role in driving sustainable energy solutions. With over 20 years of international experience, he has developed a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities within energy efficiency improvements. Throughout his career, Tobias has held various leadership roles across sales, global sales management, and marketing, consistently focusing on delivering impactful, high-value energy solutions.

From 2011 to 2015, Tobias was based in Houston, where he successfully led a sales team dedicated to the U.S. petrochemical industry, achieving significant growth in this key market.

Tobias holds both an M.Sc. and a Technical Licentiate degree in Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Technology at Lund University. His academic background, combined with his industry experience, equips him with technical expertise and strategic vision.

As a key member of Alfa Laval’s Energy Hunting team, Tobias actively collaborates with colleagues and customers to identify opportunities for optimizing energy use. By proactively leveraging cutting-edge heat exchanger technologies, he helps clients improve energy efficiency and significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the heavy process industries. His approach to energy efficiency continues to contribute to a more sustainable industrial future.
