Steam Generation Decarbonization for Food & Beverage Manufacturing
This presentation aims at providing insight into the options available to industrial manufacturers for decarbonizing their steam generation operations. Attendees will get a glimpse of a decarbonization glidepath for a large food and beverage manufacturer, with emphasis on tactics targeting steam generation. Two primary steam decarbonization pathways will be presented – biomass and electrification – with accompanying examples outlining the respective benefits and challenges for each. Attendees can expect to leave with a better understanding of what it takes to decarbonize steam generation, how to get started, and options to address the challenges along the way.
