Abstract:

Identifying and quantifying all forms of energy usage is a vital component in boosting energy efficiency and sustainability in buildings, as well as in furthering your decarbonization efforts.

This presentation aims to deliver/demonstrate a thorough overview to participants and to highlight best practices associated with the recommended energy audit assessment tools employed in the execution of various facility and plant energy audits. The effective collection and analysis of both observable and non-visible data, including a building’s temperature, necessitates the use of appropriate energy audit inspection tools.

Attend and familiarize yourself with the ‘ABCs’ of essential inspection tools; including, Anemometers, Ballast Checkers, Battery-Powered Portable Compact Sensors, Blower Doors, Borescopes, Cameras (Smart Phone/Digital), Cameras (Thermal Imaging), CO Meters (IAQ), CO2 Meters (IAQ), Digital multimeter, Flashlights, Hygrometers, Kill-A-Watt Meters, Laser Distance Measurers, Light Meters, Manometers, Particle Counters (IAQ), Psychrometers, Pyrometers, Receptacle Circuit Testers, Smoke Pen, Tape Measures, Ultrasonic Leak Detectors, and Videoscopes.
